Great leaders do not spend their time searching for scapegoats or external explanations. They look honestly at the role they play in shaping culture, developing people, communicating expectations, and building trust. Accountability ultimately becomes leadership currency because it creates credibility. People follow leaders they trust. They trust leaders who consistently own both success and failure with honesty, humility, and courage. Long after titles, scoreboards, and accomplishments fade, the true legacy of leadership will be found in the people we developed, the cultures we shaped, and the leaders we helped create along the way.
