Over the past week, we have explored influence from many different perspectives.

We learned that influence is earned rather than granted. We saw that our example often speaks louder than our words. We were reminded that people matter, that great leaders develop others, and that leadership is ultimately an act of service.

Perhaps most importantly, we discovered that influence is not limited by our own reach. Every person we encourage, coach, develop, or serve has the potential to positively impact countless others.

In that way, influence becomes one of the few assets that grows when it is given away.

The greatest leaders understand that their legacy will not be measured by titles, awards, wealth, or accomplishments. It will be measured by the people they helped become more than they ever thought possible.

As we conclude Influence Week, I leave you with one final thought:

Influence is not measured by what we accomplish.

It is measured by what continues because we were here.

May all of us strive to build a legacy worthy of being continued by those who follow.
