Too often leaders view delegation as task management when in reality it is people development.
Great delegation is not about simply getting things off your plate. It is about building competence,
confidence, ownership, accountability, trust, and future leaders.
Throughout this week we will explore:
why leaders struggle to delegate
how trust impacts ownership
the role communication plays in successful delegation
the dangers of control and dependency
how leaders unintentionally become bottlenecks
and why leadership multiplication ultimately requires vulnerability, patience, trust, and development
At its core, delegation is not about losing control.
It is about creating growth.
The leaders who leave the greatest legacy are rarely the ones who accomplished the most personally. They
are the ones who developed the most people around them.
My hope is that this week challenges us all to think differently about leadership, trust, ownership,
communication, and the responsibility we carry to help others grow.
