Daily Reflection
June 9, 2026
Few leadership qualities are more important than resilience.

Every leader will experience setbacks. Plans will fail. People will disappoint us. Circumstances will change. Dreams will be delayed. At times, the obstacles in front of us may seem larger than our ability to overcome them.

While we cannot always control what happens to us, we can control how we respond.

Over the coming week we will explore resilience from several different perspectives. We will examine the importance of persistence, the lessons hidden inside adversity, the danger of quitting too soon, the value of adaptability, and the opportunities often concealed within our greatest challenges.

Resilience is not about avoiding hardship.

It is about continuing despite it.

My hope is that these reflections encourage you to view adversity differently, remain steadfast when the road becomes difficult, and recognize that some of life’s greatest opportunities may be waiting on the other side of your current challenge.
